83 showcases the story of India’s iconic win on the 1983 World Cup. The film hit the screens final week in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. 83 boasts of a powerful star solid that features Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev, Pankaj Tripathi as supervisor PR Man Singh, Ammy Virk as Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Saahil Khattar as Syed Kirmani and Tahir Bhasin performed the position of Sunil Gavaskar within the film. Deepika Padukone performed Kapil Dev’s spouse Romi on display screen.
The film opened to stellar critiques. Film critic Saibal Chatterjee, in his overview for NDTV, gave the film 4 stars out of 5 and he wrote: “There might be no denying that 83 is the film it’s due to the astounding central efficiency by Ranveer Singh. In reality, it might be inaccurate to name it a efficiency. The lead actor lives the half and, like Kapil Dev did, leads from the entrance. There isn’t any pottering round for him.
